Welcome! Now, who are we?

Hi! If you’re reading this, you’ve most likely talked to a podcast producer. I know that can be an ordeal on its own, so thank you for making it this far.

If you’ve given an interview, guided our research, or offered your support in any way, I can’t express how cool that is and how grateful we are. Part of the reason we’re so passionate about this project is because the TTRPG community can be one of the most welcoming and most genuine groups out there and we want to celebrate it.

I’m Kristin - I’m an audio reporter and producer who has worked with outlets like the BBC, iHeartMedia, Virginia Public Media, and Audible. Lilia Everwood is our lore master/researcher - you’ve probably seen her at a con.

Currently, Out of the Dungeon is an independent production but is being pitched to studios for funding. Depending on the state of the media industry, it may also be coming to Kickstarter (It’s brutal out here).

What is this newsletter for?

Great question. Since documentary production can be a long process, I wanted a place to keep you updated on what we’re working on and where the podcast is at.

What do you most want to hear explored on the documentary? We have a submission form to tell us about it here!

You can also follow me @kvermilya.bsky.social and DM me with questions, or follow the podcast on Instagram @outofthedungeonpod.

We’re so excited to watch this documentary come together and feel very honored that you donated your time, expertise and/or support to this project. Stay tuned!

Kristin (& Lilia)
